Terms of Service
Last updated 17 October 2026. Version 2026-10-17.
Who we are
ChangeTextInImage (https://changetextinimage.app) is run by Summercloude Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202619506N), Singapore. Contact: support@changetextinimage.app.
The service
ChangeTextInImage changes the words in an image: you upload a picture, draw a box around the text, type the new text, and an AI model from Black Forest Labs redraws those words. You get a free watermarked preview, or you can use credits to get the edited image at full size without the watermark.
You must be 18 or older to use it. Before your first edit you tick a box confirming that you're 18 or older, that you accept these Terms, and that you understand your image is sent to Black Forest Labs in the United States to make the edit and that Black Forest Labs may use it to improve its models. We record that agreement with its version and time; if the Terms change in a way that matters, we ask you again.
Your account
You sign in with Google. One account is for one person; keep your Google sign-in safe, because anything done with your account counts as done by you. You can delete your account at any time on your account page: your images and any credits left are deleted too, and we warn you before you confirm. We don't delete accounts automatically, and we never delete an account that still holds credits unless you ask us to. An account that breaks these Terms can be blocked. How we handle your data is in our Privacy Policy.
Free previews and limits
- You get 1 free preview; signing in with Google doesn't add more. A free preview is one try: a small image with a watermark; the full-size image and further edits need credits.
- Credits come first: when your account holds credits, a change uses 1 credit rather than a free preview. Edits included with an earlier change use neither.
- A preview counts as used when the model returns a result, including a result you cancelled while it was running. A preview that fails on our side doesn't count.
- We also apply limits per network and per day, and a daily ceiling on the model's cost, to keep the service running for everyone. When a limit is reached, the page tells you and bought images stay downloadable.
Credits, packs and payment
- Credits come in one-time packs, priced in US dollars on the Pricing page. Each change made with credits costs 1 credit, whatever the image's size. Buying a free preview's image costs 1 credit and buys every version of it that is still available. The image comes back at the size of your upload — up to about 16.8 megapixels — and every edit of that image keeps that size.
- Credits never expire. They are spent only when a change uses them or you buy an image. A change that fails on our side uses nothing; a change you cancel after it starts still counts. Downloading a bought image again is free.
- Credits have no cash value except as set out under Refunds. They can't be transferred to another account or exchanged for money.
- Checkout is run by Stripe. Stripe, through its Link service ("Sold through Link"), is the merchant of record: it takes your payment, adds sales tax, VAT or GST where it applies, issues your receipt, and handles payment disputes. Your statement shows "LINK.COM*" followed by our descriptor. Stripe's and Link's terms apply to the payment itself. Stripe decides which countries and payment methods it serves.
- Prices on the Pricing page are the prices you pay in US dollars, plus any tax Stripe adds at checkout for your location. If Stripe offers the price in your local currency, its exchange rate includes a conversion fee of 2–4%; you can choose to pay in US dollars instead.
- We grant the credits when Stripe tells us the payment succeeded. For a payment method that takes time to clear, the credits arrive when it clears. If a payment fails, no credits are granted. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the matching share of that pack's credits is removed; if you had already used them, your balance can go below zero, and credits can't be used until your balance is enough again. Images you already bought stay yours and stay downloadable.
- The service starts when you first use credits from a pack.
Refunds
- Within 14 days of buying a pack: a full refund if you haven't used any credit from it; otherwise, a refund of the unused credits, pro rata at that pack's price.
- After 14 days: no refund, apart from Stripe's own right to refund a purchase within 60 days in certain cases, and any right you have by law that can't be excluded.
- A change that fails on our side uses nothing. If we confirm that a bought image can't be downloaded, the credits for it are returned.
- A refund removes the refunded share of that pack's credits from your account. If a payment is disputed and the funds are withdrawn, the matching share of that pack's credits is held; if the dispute is resolved in our favour, they come back.
- Ask by email at support@changetextinimage.app, from the email address of the Google account you bought with, or through Link support. Refunds go back to the payment method you used.
- If you're a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may also have a 14-day right to cancel a pack under consumer law. Using credits — to change text or to buy an image — starts the service straight away. Next to every button that uses credits, the page tells you this and that you give up the right to cancel for the credits it uses; by pressing the button you ask us to start straight away and accept that. Credits you haven't used stay covered by the 14-day refund above.
Your images
- Your rights. As between you and us, the images you upload and the edited images you download are yours. You may use the edited images for any lawful purpose, including commercially. You confirm that you have the right to edit the image you upload and that the result won't infringe anyone's rights.
- What you let us do. You give us permission to store, process and transmit your image and text to provide the service: to check it, send it to Black Forest Labs, store the result, make the preview and close-up (watermarked for a free preview), and show it to you. We claim no other rights in your images and don't use them for anything else.
- Black Forest Labs. The edit is made by Black Forest Labs Inc., a separate company, and your image and text go to it in the United States. Its FLUX API Service Terms give it a licence to inputs and outputs and say it may use them to train and improve its models. We have asked it to exclude our customers' images and will update the Privacy Policy when it confirms.
- Retention. A free preview you don't buy is deleted 72 hours after it was made (up to 4 hours later if you open it, or start buying it, in its last 2 hours), and the picture you uploaded is deleted with its last unbought preview. An image you made or bought with credits is kept in My images, with the picture you uploaded, until you delete it or delete your account.
- AI-edited marking. Every image the model returns carries Content Credentials — a signed record inside the file saying it was made with AI and naming the model and Black Forest Labs. We pass the file to you unchanged so the record stays valid; the preview carries it too, inside Cloudflare's own signed record. You agree not to remove, alter or hide the Content Credentials or any other provenance mark on an image from this service. Where you publish, you are responsible for any disclosure the law there requires, such as labelling a deepfake in the EU; the Content Credentials in the file don't replace that.
Acceptable use
ChangeTextInImage is for pictures of things — posters, flyers, product images, memes, AI-generated images, slides, signs and labels. You agree not to upload, edit, create or distribute, through this service:
- identity documents of any kind — passports, ID cards, driving licences, visas, residence permits, and photos or scans of them;
- financial and official records — receipts, invoices, payslips, bank statements, tax forms, contracts, court or government documents;
- certificates, diplomas, licences, test results, medical notes and prescriptions;
- tickets, boarding passes, vouchers and entry passes;
- screenshots of payments, bank or wallet apps, order confirmations, messages, emails, chats, or social-media posts and profiles;
- a real person's words, quotes, captions or statements changed in a way that could mislead anyone about what they said or did;
- anything that removes, hides or alters a watermark, copyright notice, brand mark or Content Credentials;
- images of, or personal data about, anyone under 18;
- sexual, intimate, degrading or defamatory depictions of real people, or any content that realistically depicts a real person in a fraudulent or misleading way;
- deepfakes of real people;
- content that is unlawful where you or we are, including child sexual abuse material and non-consensual intimate imagery;
- content that falsely represents events, things or people in a way likely to deceive, including election disinformation;
- content that harasses, threatens or defames anyone, impersonates anyone, or violates anyone's privacy or intellectual property;
- anything else that Black Forest Labs' Usage Policy prohibits, which applies to every image made through this service.
You also agree not to probe, overload, scrape or interfere with the service, access another person's account or images, use automated tools to take free previews, or use results to train, distil or fine-tune other AI models.
People in your images
If an identifiable person appears in an image you edit, you confirm that you have their informed consent for the edit and for how you'll use the result, and that you can show that consent if asked. Images of anyone under 18 are not accepted, so a parent's or guardian's consent doesn't arise. Black Forest Labs' terms require this for every image sent to its model.
How we enforce this
- An automated check looks at every upload before any edit, and a block list checks the new text. A refused image is never stored, and the page tells you why in general terms.
- Three refused or declined attempts in 24 hours pause your device or account for 24 hours; a second pause blocks it. A block survives deleting your account. If you think a refusal or a block is a mistake, email us and we'll look.
- We may remove an image, refuse an edit, suspend or block an account, and withhold a refund, for a breach of these Terms, and we end access immediately where our model provider's terms require it. We may also report unlawful content to the authorities.
- To report an image made with this service that is being used to deceive, or any misuse, email support@changetextinimage.app with where you saw it.
What we promise, and what we don't
- The edit is made by an AI model and results vary with the image: a word may come out wrong or in a different style, and because the whole picture passes through the model, parts outside the box can change slightly. The free preview and its close-up are made from the exact image you would buy — check them before you buy. A result you don't like is not a failed change.
- We work to keep the service available, but it may be paused — for maintenance, a cost ceiling, or a problem at our providers — and features may change. Bought images remain downloadable while the service runs.
- The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it, and our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have by law that can't be limited, including your rights as a consumer where you live.
Changes
We may change or stop the service and change these Terms. If we ever close the service, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before, refund any unused credits, and keep your bought images available to download until the closing date. The date and version at the top show the latest version. A change that affects what you agreed to before your first edit asks you to agree again before your next edit; continuing to use the service after other changes means you accept them.
Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your own courts where the law allows. How we handle your data is in our Privacy Policy.
